First Choice Quality Healthcare INC: IS A RESIDENTIAL SERVICE AGENCY licensed by the Department of Health & Mental Hygiene in Maryland. We function as a Homecare agency in the Community, providing multi-disciplinary, short and long term care on an intermittent and part-time basis to patients of all ages, to include infant, children and geriatric patients.

Care is delivered in the patient’s home at the physicians ordered frequently, daily and on an on-call, as needed basis after hours, on holidays and weekends.

OUR GOALS:

A. We encourage and support continued education of each employee and in turn, our agency will provide staff with competitive compensation, an inviting work environment, and knowledgeable, trustworthy management and direction.

B. All Licensed and Unlicensed Employees will undergo a Background Check before employment.

C. The Agency shall ensure that all licensed professional have a current license in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing

D. All patients are provided with quality, comprehensive health care services through a coordinated Plan of Care with our interdisciplinary care team.

E. To provide continuity of health care to facilitate uninterrupted service within the health care system.

F. To promote early recovery or maximum rehabilitation in the patient’s home environment.

G. To provide effective channels of communication with the patient, physician and other organizations and providers within the health care community.

H. To foster professional and personal satisfaction of all employees by maintaining a positive environment that stimulates pride and professional growth.

I. To increase the awareness of health related issues to members of the community.

J. Each staff member will meet the State of Maryland educational and training requirements for the services we provide.
